    What font did you use?

  5. AfriKonArtist says:

@AfriKonArtist if you sent your cards to be printed proffesionally for better quality or used a print company you would find your cards cut in ways that half of you text would be missing etc. but for none proffesional home made cutting it with a scissors kind of stuff which looks lame then you could do it this way. im a graphics designer and why was i on you tutorial? cause its a good place to pick up ideas

  6. AfriKonArtist says:

erm this is all wrong u should use INCHES not pixels on business cards because pixels are for computerscreen etc and this is something that will be printed out. also there no cutline or bleed margin. the right size is width 3.75inches length 2.25inches. you then use the ruler tool to make guidelines which will become the cutline (where the card will be cut) and bleed margin etc etc. these are a 1/4 inch on every side and another 1/8 inch on either side.

@Thet3 If you’re getting cards done for your business, then not to sound like an ass, but I’d seriously go to a professional designer/firm to have them done properly. A business card says a LOT about a company, it shows how seriously you take your business. Paper wise, you’d want at LEAST 120 stock, gloss costs more but can give a nicer finish, depends on the artwork. I’d get a pro printers to print them. You should find one locally that has good prices.

  14. TalesOfWar says:

@1980Grafik I know your pain. I see lots of these kind of videos and I die a little inside thinking people think this is how it’s all done and then think “wow this is simple, I’m not paying those silly prices that guy is asking!”. It’s almost as painful when you ask a client what their current branding/marketing is made with and they reply “Publisher”. To be fair to the guy though he got the concept right and the design itself isn’t shabby, but the implementation is… missing bits.

  15. TalesOfWar says:

Actual design wise, It’s good. Simple, gets all the info you need on there. The implementation is a little off though. For starters, you should be doing this at 300ppi, use real world measurements too like CM, pixels is inaccurate for print as it’s a set size unrelated to resolution. You’ll also want margins and bleeds in there too. Also text should be set as a vector, or as high res as possible (hence 300) or prints will come out all blocky. Most new to print design forget this stuff!

  20. zaincool20 says:

greater video… um how would you make a like a creative design on the card ?? thxx

  21. smurk143 says:

a professional card for print should be made in Indesign in order to check if it’s ready for the printing process. Also I notice your document is in RGB colouring, that’s the way the colours are built up for screen view. printing should b CMYK. Also about size of type, you don’t want to go lower then 7pt. size because of legibility. If people have trouble reading your card it’s useless. If you want to learn find yourself a decent book on typography. Other then that keep up the creativity!

  22. coked007 says:

    how do you print it

  23. Biingt says:

why don’t you use rulers and guidelines to position all the elements?

your internet info isn’t lined up properly.

  25. happygamestvfun1 says:
